In February this year another MEC powered Biomass Micro Combined Heat and Power unit found its way to the first customers. Both in Sweden and in Germany the first installs of the so-called AllGen unit were done. This robust multi-fuel (pellets, woodchips and several other hard fuels) unit, developed in cooperation with our German partner Bulg, is capable of easily delivering 1.0 kW electric. For Pellets it is available in two versions:
a 18kw thermal and 1 kw electric version (18t/1e)
and
a 12 kw thermal and 1 kw electric version (12t/1e)
The Woodchip and other solid fuel version is available in a 18kw thermal and 1 kw electric version (18t/1e). Its simplicity, robustness and ease of use make the AllGen very suitable for rural and remote environments.
